The Women’s Day Message for this year spoke out against the pending war which became a reality by the end of March. Like millions across the globe, CAFRA felt that there was nothing to justify the USA and the UK launching such a harmful, immoral and illegitimate act against the people of Iraq. As the death toll mounted on all sides and the infrastructure of the country was devastated, CAFRA continued to condemn the invasion and demand withdrawal of the coalition troops to their own shores.
November 25, was observed as International Day against Violence Against Women. The CAFRA Statement addressed Sexual Harassment in the workplace.
