(a) PURCHASE OF BUILDING
During the year, the Ministry of Gender Affairs donated TT$40,000, sufficient to cover the legal fees for completion of registration of the CAFRA Building. (b) UNIFEM TRUST FUND
The UNIFEM Trust Fund has granted US$30,000 to CAFRA to enable it to complete its long outstanding project “Enabling Sex Workers to access health services towards HIV/AIDS Intervention/Prevention. (c) OXFAM/DFID
CAFRA was one of the twelve Social Partners benefiting from the OXFAM/DFID Capacity Building Projects. Under this project several training manuals were developed, essential equipment bought for the Secretariat, and a series of workshops on gender and trade, held in several countries. Specific attention was paid to the involvement of youth from communities with a history of violence, and included exchanges with groups from Belize, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago.
