Feminist Expo-2000
With the assistance of the Global Fund for Women, seven persons were facilitated to attend the Feminist Expo held in Washington DC from March 31st - April 2, 2000.
The purpose of the Expo was to showcase the power of the Feminist Movement, its ideas and vision for the 21st Century, as well as the diversity of its work, constituencies, and accomplishments.
World Conference on Racism
The World Conference on Racism will be held in Durban, South Africa from 31st August to 7th September. As the subregional focal point for women’s input, CAFRA was involved in the dissemination of information. Two CAFRA Representatives for this process participated in Meetings in Puerto Rico and Chile.
