Challenges

The organisation faced three sets of challenges in the course of its year`s work. We had to engage in significant resource mobilisation to maintain the space that CAFRA has carved for itself in the region. There was need to train personnel to address economic issues at the Global, Regional and National levels, and particularly the impact of harmful trade policies on women. Our thrid major activity focus involved strengthening the Regional and National Committees to ensure activities were implemented at Regional and National levels.
