The January – June 2004 issue of CAFRA NEWS focused on a campaign to develop the CAFRA House into an income-generating facility. The issue was dedicated to the memory of Nartel Green, who at the time of her sudden death in March 2004, was the CAFRA National Representative in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. The July-December issue reported on activism within the women’s movement, sexual and reproductive health, abortion law reform, violence against women and regional plans of action for gender equality.
