Regional Advisory Committee on Gender

CAFRA is a member of the Regional Advisory Committee on Gender, co-chaired by UNIFEM and CARICOM.
The action carried out by this committee included:
(a) The setting up of a task force to work on gender and poverty
(b) Contributing to country poverty assessments
(c) Conducting advocacy and livelihoods
(d) Conducting research and awareness and care taking on HIV/AIDS
(e) Gender and natural disasters mitigation
