Funding
CAFRA completed its 2005-2008 Strategic Plan. This plan includes a Fund Raising Plan. Efforts are intensified to penetrate the curtain of “false affluence” that is hindering the flow of funds to the Caribbean region.
The organisation intends to both prepare project proposals for regional and international donors, and to approach individuals and corporations for support.
In this connection, CAFRA supports the work of CPDC on the setting up of a Foundation for NGO sustainability, and looks forward to it becoming a reality.
