The Caribbean Association for Feminist Research and Action (CAFRA) continued its efforts to implement programmes that will influence individual and social transformation, creating a climate in which social justice is realized.
The year started with darkness as war clouds threatened and burst in many parts of the world, and corporate driven globalization infringed on the livelihoods of the poor. In this year CAFRA was challenged to increase its activism, even as membership were pre-occupied with the business of survival, and funding sources undertook their own structural adjustment process.
This report covers the period January – December 2003 and incorporates the input of the CAFRA Regional Committee.
