Women in Politics 2003

In this edition CAFRA is paying attention to women in politics.

In his poem, “It was the Women,” the Poet Elliot Roache sings a praise song to women.

This short biography of Elma Francois 1897-1944, reveals to us a remarkable woman.

When I agreed to be a candidate for local government, I knew there would be challenges and obstacles ahead of me, but I never thought it would come from members of the political party to which I belonged.
